TAP RAP type CR+P is a bi-component unit composed by:
CR, made of flexible, radially
displaced, steel cords embedded in uncured rubber;
P, a special rubber protector
made of only rubber (or reinforced with fabric plies when used in
OTR tires) .

CR and P must be applied separately, so to verify, step by step,
the perfect application of CR.

TAP RAP type CR+P prevent from bulging of repaired
area, according to the Regulation UN-ECE 109, which fix bulge limit
to 4mm . All TAP RAP patches conform to this requirement being
tested and certified by Politecnico
di Bari. |
